DRAMIONE RECS, WIPS AND STATEMENTS

JKR STATEMENT

"I’m so MAD at You Know Who for *tainting* my innocent dream of one day sharing my childhood with my sons, by reading with them a series full of magic, importance of friendship and fighting for your beliefs and loved ones.

Now all these beautiful things and memories of my first all-night reads are shadowed by looking for used books (to not give her any more wealth), preparation for a lesson on trans rights and why some stereotypes are extra harmful (even though my boys already know all of that), and explaining why they won’t get any HP merch… because I choose to turn it into a lesson.

My memories are tainted but theirs won’t be."

DRAMIONE STATEMENT

"First, I commpletly understand if anyone is not comfortable with reading any fan fics related to HP universe! I try to minimilize giving You-Know-Who attention, too, and that's why with very few exceptions, the only place you can catch me talking about it online will be this page, for people who choose to check it out. I am not promoting or discussing any of it anywhere else.

Why do I read/write Dramione fan fics?

It brings me joy to see that almost all of them are very inclusive and diverse; clearly despite Her own opinions and quite a few controversial (discusting) plot decisions, HP readers grew up to be much better people than Her!

I also absolutely HATED the epilogue of the series and seeing all these alternate versions that explore my favourite pairing (the compability, the enemies-to-lovers angst, the intelligent banter!) just heals my soul."

Draco Malfoy and Mortyfing Ordeal of Being in Love, by isthisselfcare

My first Dramione, recommended to me by another indie author on Threads.

Adults, super busy Hermione, Auror Draco.

Funny, cute, incredible adventures (the nuns?!) and Draco+Crooks relationship.

Loved it.

Manacled, by SinLinYu

Post the lost war, adults, Handmaid's Tale inspired, dark!

Story crashed me. I thought it would be sexy-dark, but it was very sad-dark. It has one of the best plot twists ever. A little bit long.

Loved the huge plot twist and the way it was revealed. The extended ending was not my cup of tea.

The Auction, by LovesBitca8

Dark, post-lost war.

Bloody, Slutty and Pathetic, by WhatMurdah

“In my humble opinion there’s only three things that men should be and that is bloody, slutty, and pathetic. And, on a good day, Draco Malfoy can be all three."

Well... It was a gloriously slutty, post-war, arranged marriage, adult Dramione, plus sexy, arrogant Neville.

It was dark but so funny, I loved every bit of it!

The Auction, by LovesBitca8

Dark, post-lost war.

Don't Fear the Reaper, by LongtimeLurker1111

Post-war, time travel loops, lost memories, dark Draco, but also lots of very sweetly-in-love Dramione. HEA with a strong H.

It was... an adventure to read. I had fun having to keep coming up with new theories!

The Troublesome Thing About Time, by LadyKenz347
